When you’re going through the valleys of life as a person with aphasia or perhaps a caregiver, an inspirational playlist can be very therapeutic. Music has inspired and given me hope throughout my journey as a wife and caregiver to my husband when I felt I was on the brink of wanting to give up. It’s even helped me release emotions I’ve kept pinned up inside for way too long. And more importantly, finding that perfect song that you can relate to in the most vulnerable moments can help you feel less alone. There’s so much comfort in that. Don’t you think?
Below is a curated playlist from my own personal collection. These songs contain nuggets of wisdom, hope, and inspiration when life throws you the ultimate curveball. Have a listen and enjoy!
